4 cups fresh blackberries or( thawed, frozen blackberries)
2 cups sugar
2 cups buttermilk
Combine blackberries and sugar in a food processor, until smooth.
Strain blackberry mixture and discard pulp.
Stir in buttermilk, mixing well.
Pour into a 9×13 inch dish.
Freeze for 1 hour. Remove from freezer and stir.
Return to freezer for 2 hours, or until firm.
